Remove Active Directory Services from the domain controller

Run DCPROMO from the Run dialog box on the existing domain controller allows you to remove Active Directory from a domain controller, and thus reducing on a member server. If the domain controller is the last domain controller in the domain, and will become a stand-alone server. If you remove the active directory of all domain controllers in the domain, you can also delete the directory database for this area, and the area no longer exists. Computers and joined to this domain are no longer able to log on to the domain or use the services of the domain.
